In Reception we follow a play based curriculum. For children of this age, play is the vehicle through which they learn. Play is the child’s way of learning. Through play-based activities, children can follow their interests and adults will support their play, asking questions, challenging children’s thinking and moving them on to the next stage of learning. Children will also gather for short focus teaching sessions of Drawing Club, Phonics and Maths.
